3:148
فَـَٔاتَىٰهُمُٱللَّهُثَوَابَٱلدُّنْيَاوَحُسْنَثَوَابِٱلْءَاخِرَةِوَٱللَّهُيُحِبُّٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ ١٤٨

Saheeh International

So Allah gave them the reward of this world and the good reward of the Hereafter. And Allah loves the doers of good.

Tafseer 'Ibn Kathir' (EN)

فَأتَاهُمُ اللّهُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا

So Allah gave them the reward of this world,

victory, triumph and the good end.

وَحُسْنَ ثَوَابِ الاخِرَةِ

and the excellent reward of the Hereafter.

added to the gains in this life.

وَاللّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ

And Allah loves the good-doers
