قَدْقَالَهَاٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلِهِمْفَمَآأَغْنَىٰعَنْهُممَّاكَانُوا۟يَكْسِبُونَ ٥٠
Saheeh International
Those before them had already said it, but they were not availed by what they used to earn.

Tafseer 'Tafsir Kemenag RI' (IN)
(50) Pada ayat ini, Allah menerangkan bahwa ucapan seperti itu pernah didengar pula dari umat-umat sebelum mereka, sehingga anggapan seperti itu bukanlah anggapan yang baru. Apa-apa yang mereka usahakan dahulu itu tidak berguna untuk menolak datangnya azab dari Allah karena mereka selalu bersikap mendustakan dan mencemooh kedatangan utusan Allah.
