هَٰذَامَاتُوعَدُونَلِيَوْمِٱلْحِسَابِ ٥٣

Saheeh International

This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account.

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

قوله تعالى : هذا ما توعدون ليوم الحساب أي هذا الجزاء الذي وعدتم به . وقراءة العامة بالتاء أي : ما توعدون أيها المؤمنون . وقرأ ابن كثير وابن محيصن وأبو عمرو ويعقوب بالياء [ ص: 197 ] على الخبر ، وهي قراءة السلمي واختيار أبي عبيد وأبي حاتم ، لقوله تعالى : وإن للمتقين لحسن مآب فهو خبر . " ليوم الحساب " أي : في يوم الحساب ، قال الأعشى :المهينين ما لهم لزمان السوء حتى إذا أفاق أفاقواأي : في زمان السوء .
