وَٱلطَّيْرَمَحْشُورَةًكُلٌّلَّهُۥٓأَوَّابٌ ١٩

Saheeh International

And the birds were assembled, all with him repeating [praises].

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

قوله تعالى : والطير محشورة معطوف على الجبال . قال الفراء : ولو قرئ " والطير محشورة " لجاز ; لأنه لم يظهر الفعل . قال ابن عباس : كان داود - عليه السلام - إذا سبح جاوبته الجبال واجتمعت إليه الطير فسبحت معه . فاجتماعها إليه حشرها . فالمعنى : وسخرنا الطير مجموعة إليه لتسبح الله معه . وقيل : أي : وسخرنا الريح لتحشر الطيور إليه لتسبح معه . أو أمرنا [ ص: 146 ] الملائكة تحشر الطيور ." كل له " أي لداود " أواب " أي مطيع ، أي : تأتيه وتسبح معه . وقيل : الهاء لله عز وجل .
