37:8
لَّايَسَّمَّعُونَإِلَىٱلْمَلَإِٱلْأَعْلَىٰوَيُقْذَفُونَمِنكُلِّجَانِبٍ ٨

Saheeh International

[So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side,

Tafseer 'Ibn Kathir' (AR)

إذا أراد أن يسترق السمع أتاه شهاب ثاقب فأحرقه ولهذا قال جل جلاله "لا يسمعون إلى الملإ الأعلى" أي لئلا يصلوا إلى الملإ الأعلى وهي السموات ومن فيها من الملائكة إذا تكلموا بما يوحيه الله تعالى مما يقوله من شرعه وقدره كما تقدم بيان ذلك في الأحاديث التي أوردناها عند قوله تبارك وتعالى "حتى إذا فزع عن قلوبهم قالوا ماذا قال ربكم قالوا الحق وهو العلي الكبير" ولهذا قال تعالى "ويقذفون" أي يرمون "من كل جانب" أي من كل جهة يقصدون السماء منها.
