37:55
فَٱطَّلَعَفَرَءَاهُفِىسَوَآءِٱلْجَحِيمِ ٥٥

Saheeh International

And he will look and see him in the midst of the Hellfire.

Tafseer 'Ibn Kathir' (EN)

So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire.

Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, Sa`id bin Jubayr, Khulayd Al-`Usari, Qatadah, As-Suddi and Ata' Al-Khurasani said,

"This means, in the middle of Hell."

Al-Hasan Al-Basri said,

"In the middle of Hell as if he were a burning star."

قَالَ تَاللَّهِ إِنْ كِدتَّ لَتُرْدِينِ
