33:67
وَقَالُوا۟رَبَّنَآإِنَّآأَطَعْنَاسَادَتَنَاوَكُبَرَآءَنَافَأَضَلُّونَاٱلسَّبِيلَا۠ ٦٧

Saheeh International

And they will say, "Our Lord, indeed we obeyed our masters and our dignitaries, and they led us astray from the [right] way.

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

وقالوا ربنا إنا أطعنا سادتنا وكبراءنا قرأ الحسن : ( ساداتنا ) بكسر التاء ، جمع سادة . وكان في هذا زجر عن التقليد . والسادة جمع السيد ، وهو فعلة ، مثل كتبة وفجرة . وساداتنا جمع الجمع . والسادة والكبراء بمعنى . وقال قتادة : هم المطعمون في غزوة بدر . والأظهر العموم في القادة والرؤساء في الشرك والضلالة ، أي أطعناهم في معصيتك وما دعونا إليه فأضلونا السبيلا أي عن السبيل وهو التوحيد ، فلما حذف الجار وصل الفعل فنصب . والإضلال لا يتعدى إلى مفعولين من غير توسط حرف الجر ، كقوله : لقد أضلني عن الذكر .
