وَأَنزَلَٱلَّذِينَظَٰهَرُوهُممِّنْأَهْلِٱلْكِتَٰبِمِنصَيَاصِيهِمْوَقَذَفَفِىقُلُوبِهِمُٱلرُّعْبَفَرِيقًاتَقْتُلُونَوَتَأْسِرُونَفَرِيقًا ٢٦

Saheeh International

And He brought down those who supported them among the People of the Scripture from their fortresses and cast terror into their hearts [so that] a party you killed, and you took captive a party.

Tafseer 'Sa3di Tafseer' (AR)

{ وَأَنْزَلَ الَّذِينَ ظَاهَرُوهُمْ } أي عاونوهم { مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ } أي: اليهود { مِنْ صَيَاصِيهِمْ } أي: أنزلهم من حصونهم، نزولاً مظفورًا بهم، مجعولين تحت حكم الإسلام.{ وَقَذَفَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الرُّعْبَ } فلم يقووا على القتال، بل استسلموا وخضعوا وذلوا. { فَرِيقًا تَقْتُلُونَ } وهم الرجال المقاتلون { وَتَأْسِرُونَ فَرِيقًا } مَنْ عداهم من النساء والصبيان.
