وَيَوْمَتَقُومُٱلسَّاعَةُيُبْلِسُٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ ١٢

Saheeh International

And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will be in despair.

Tafseer 'Waseet Tafseer' (AR)

ثم ذكر - سبحانه - حال المجرمين يوم القيامة فقال : ( وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ الساعة يُبْلِسُ المجرمون ) و ( يُبْلِسُ ) من الإِبلاس بمعنى السكوت والذهول وانقطاع الحجة ، يقال : أبلس الرجل ، إذا وقف ساكتا حائرا مبهوتا لا يجد ينقذه مما هو فيه من بلاء .أى : ويوم تقوم الساعة ، ويشاهد المجرمون أهوالها ، يصابون بالذهوب والحيرة والسكوت المطبق ، لانقطاع حجتهم ، وشدة حزنهم وهمهم ، ويأسهم من النجاة يأسا تاما .
