ثُمَّعَفَوْنَاعَنكُممِّنۢبَعْدِذَٰلِكَلَعَلَّكُمْتَشْكُرُونَ ٥٢

Saheeh International

Then We forgave you after that so perhaps you would be grateful.

Tafseer 'Tafsir Kemenag RI' (IN)

(52) Allah Maha Pengasih dan Maha Pengampun kepada hamba-Nya. Walaupun Bani Israil telah melakukan kekafiran dan kemusyrikan sedemikian rupa, namun Allah masih memberikan maaf dan ampunan kepada mereka, agar mereka mensyukuri-Nya. Allah tidak segera menimpakan azab kepada mereka melainkan ditangguhkan-Nya sampai datangnya Nabi Musa a.s. dan memberitahukan kepada mereka cara menebus dosa, agar selanjutnya mereka mensyukuri nikmat-Nya.
