29:36
وَإِلَىٰمَدْيَنَأَخَاهُمْشُعَيْبًافَقَالَيَٰقَوْمِٱعْبُدُوا۟ٱللَّهَوَٱرْجُوا۟ٱلْيَوْمَٱلْءَاخِرَوَلَاتَعْثَوْا۟فِىٱلْأَرْضِمُفْسِدِينَ ٣٦

Saheeh International

And to Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu'ayb, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah and expect the Last Day and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption."

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

قوله تعالى : وإلى مدين أخاهم شعيبا فقال ياقوم اعبدوا الله وارجوا اليوم الآخر ولا تعثوا في الأرض مفسدينقوله تعالى : وإلى مدين أخاهم شعيبا أي وأرسلنا إلى مدين أخاهم شعيبا وقد تقدم ذكرهم وفسادهم في ( الأعراف ) و ( هود ) . وارجوا اليوم الآخر وقال يونس النحوي : أي اخشوا الآخرة التي فيها الجزاء على الأعمال ولا تعثوا في الأرض أي لا تكفروا فإنه أصل كل فساد . والعثو والعثي أشد الفساد .
