28:61
أَفَمَنوَعَدْنَٰهُوَعْدًاحَسَنًافَهُوَلَٰقِيهِكَمَنمَّتَّعْنَٰهُمَتَٰعَٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَاثُمَّهُوَيَوْمَٱلْقِيَٰمَةِمِنَٱلْمُحْضَرِينَ ٦١

Saheeh International

Then is he whom We have promised a good promise which he will obtain like he for whom We provided enjoyment of worldly life [but] then he is, on the Day of Resurrection, among those presented [for punishment in Hell]?

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

قوله تعالى : أفمن وعدناه وعدا حسنا فهو لاقيه يعني الجنة وما فيها من الثواب قال ابن عباس : نزلت في حمزة بن عبد المطلب ، وفي أبي جهل بن هشام وقال مجاهد : نزلت في النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وأبي جهل وقال محمد بن كعب : نزلت في حمزة وعلي ، وفي أبي جهل وعمارة بن الوليد وقيل : في عمار والوليد بن المغيرة ; قاله السدي قال القشيري : والصحيح أنها نزلت في المؤمن والكافر على التعميم . الثعلبي : وبالجملة فإنها [ ص: 278 ] نزلت في كل كافر متع في الدنيا بالعافية والغنى وله في الآخرة النار ، وفي كل مؤمن صبر على بلاء الدنيا ثقة بوعد الله وله في الآخرة الجنة .
