28:45
وَلَٰكِنَّآأَنشَأْنَاقُرُونًافَتَطَاوَلَعَلَيْهِمُٱلْعُمُرُوَمَاكُنتَثَاوِيًافِىٓأَهْلِمَدْيَنَتَتْلُوا۟عَلَيْهِمْءَايَٰتِنَاوَلَٰكِنَّاكُنَّامُرْسِلِينَ ٤٥

Saheeh International

But We produced [many] generations [after Moses], and prolonged was their duration. And you were not a resident among the people of Madyan, reciting to them Our verses, but We were senders [of this message].

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ibn Kathir' (IN)

Firman Allah Swt.:

dan tidaklah kamu tinggal bersama-sama penduduk Madyan dengan membacakan ayat-ayat Kami kepada mereka. (Al-Qashash: 45)

Artinya, tiadalah kamu tinggal bersama penduduk kota Madyan seraya membacakan kepada mereka ayat-ayat Kami, ketika kamu menceritakan perihal nabi mereka (yaitu Syu'aib a.s.) dan apa yang ia katakan kepada kaumnya serta jawaban kaumnya terhadapnya.

tetapi Kami telah mengutus rasul-rasul. (Al-Qashash: 45)

Yakni tetapi Kami mewahyukan hal tersebut kepadamu dan Kami utus kamu kepada manusia sebagai rasul.
