قَالَذَٰلِكَبَيْنِىوَبَيْنَكَأَيَّمَاٱلْأَجَلَيْنِقَضَيْتُفَلَاعُدْوَٰنَعَلَىَّوَٱللَّهُعَلَىٰمَانَقُولُوَكِيلٌ ٢٨
Saheeh International
[Moses] said, "That is [established] between me and you. Whichever of the two terms I complete - there is no injustice to me, and Allah, over what we say, is Witness."

Tafseer 'Tafsir Kemenag RI' (IN)
(28) Musa menerima tawaran itu dan berjanji kepada orang tua kedua gadis itu bahwa dia akan memenuhi syarat-syarat yang disepakati dan akan memenuhi salah satu dari dua masa yang ditawarkan, yaitu delapan atau sepuluh tahun. Sesudah itu tidak ada kewajiban lagi yang harus dibebankan kepadanya. Musa juga menyatakan bahwa Allah yang menjadi saksi atas kebenaran apa yang telah diikrarkan bersama.
