قَالَعِفْرِيتٌمِّنَٱلْجِنِّأَنَا۠ءَاتِيكَبِهِۦقَبْلَأَنتَقُومَمِنمَّقَامِكَوَإِنِّىعَلَيْهِلَقَوِىٌّأَمِينٌ ٣٩

Saheeh International

A powerful one from among the jinn said, "I will bring it to you before you rise from your place, and indeed, I am for this [task] strong and trustworthy."

Tafseer 'Tafsir Kemenag RI' (IN)

(39) Mendengar permintaan Sulaiman, Ifrit (termasuk golongan jin) yang cerdik menjawab, "Aku akan datang kepadamu membawa singgasana itu sebelum kamu berdiri dari tempat dudukmu dan aku benar-benar sanggup melaksanakannya dan kesanggupanku itu dapat dibuktikan." Yang dimaksud dengan "sebelum kamu berdiri dari tempat dudukmu" ialah sebelum Sulaiman meninggalkan tempat itu. Beliau biasanya meninggalkan tempat itu sebelum tengah hari.
