قَالَعِفْرِيتٌمِّنَٱلْجِنِّأَنَا۠ءَاتِيكَبِهِۦقَبْلَأَنتَقُومَمِنمَّقَامِكَوَإِنِّىعَلَيْهِلَقَوِىٌّأَمِينٌ ٣٩

Saheeh International

A powerful one from among the jinn said, "I will bring it to you before you rise from your place, and indeed, I am for this [task] strong and trustworthy."

Tafseer 'Tanweer Tafseer' (AR)

قَالَ عِفْريتٌ مِنَ الْجِنِّ أَنَا آَتِيكَ بِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَقُومَ مِنْ مَقَامِكَ وَإِنِّي عَلَيْهِ لَقَوِيٌّ أَمِينٌ (39) ومعنى { عفريت } حسبما يستخلص من مختلف كلمات أهل اللغة أنه اسم للشديد الذي لا يصاب ولا ينال ، فهو يُتَّقى لشَره . وأصله اسم لعُتاة الجن ، ويوصف به الناس على معنى التشبيه .و { الذي عنده علم من الكتاب } رجل من أهل الحكمة من حاشية سليمان .
