فَأَلْقَىٰعَصَاهُفَإِذَاهِىَثُعْبَانٌمُّبِينٌ ٣٢

Saheeh International

So [Moses] threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent manifest.

آپ نے (اسی وقت) اپنی لاٹھی ڈال دی جو اچانک کھلم کھلا (زبردست) اژدھا بن گئی (١) ٣٢۔١ بعض جگہ ثعبان کو حیۃ اور بعض جگہ جان کہا گیا ہے ثعبان وہ سانپ ہوتا ہے جو بڑا ہو اور جان چھوٹے سانپ کو کہتے ہیں او حیۃ چھوٹے بڑے دونوں قسم کے سانپوں پر بولا جاتا ہے۔ فتح القدیر۔ گویا لاٹھی نے پہلے چھوٹے سانپ کی شکل اختیار کی پھر دیکھتے دیکھتے اژدھا بن گئی۔ واللہ اعلم
