Tafseer 'Tafsir Abu Bakar Zakaria' (BN)

[১] ইউসুফ ‘আলাইহিস সালাম-এর পরে আল্লাহ্‌ তা‘আলা শু‘আইব ‘আলাইহিস সালামকে পাঠান। তার জাতি ছিল মাদইয়ান জাতি। [সূরা আল-আ‘রাফঃ ৮৫] মাদইয়ান ছিল শু‘আইব ‘আলাইহিস সালাম-এর জাতির এক পূর্বপুরুষের নাম। অপরদিকে কখনো কখনো পবিত্ৰ কুরআনে শুয়াইব ‘আলাইহিস সালাম-এর কওম সম্পর্কে বলা হয়েছে, ‘আসহাবুল আইকাহ’ বা গাছওয়ালাগণ। [সূরা আশ-শুয়ারাঃ ১৭৬] অধিকাংশ মুফাসসিরদের মতে আইকাবাসী দ্বারা মাদইয়ান জাতিকে বুঝানো হয়েছে। [আদওয়া আল-বায়ান]
