إِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَءَايَةًوَمَاكَانَأَكْثَرُهُممُّؤْمِنِينَ ١٠٣

Saheeh International

Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ahsanul Bayaan' (UR)

یہ ماجرہ یقیناً آپ کے لئے ایک زبردست نشانی ہے (١) ان میں اکثر لوگ ایمان لانے والے نہیں (۲) ١٠٣۔١ یعنی حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کا بتوں کے بارے میں اپنی قوم سے مناظرہ اللہ کی توحید کے دلائل، یہ اس بات کی واضح نشانی ہے کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔ ١٠٣۔٢ بعض نے اس مرجع مشرکین مکہ یعنی قریش کو قرار دیا ہے یعنی ان کی اکثریت ایمان لانے والی نہیں۔
