25:74
وَٱلَّذِينَيَقُولُونَرَبَّنَاهَبْلَنَامِنْأَزْوَٰجِنَاوَذُرِّيَّٰتِنَاقُرَّةَأَعْيُنٍوَٱجْعَلْنَالِلْمُتَّقِينَإِمَامًا ٧٤

Saheeh International

And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous."

Tafseer 'Ibn Kathir' (AR)

وأنها التي قال الله تعالى "والذين يقولون ربنا هب لنا من أزواجنا وذرياتنا قرة أعين" وهذا إسناد صحيح ولم يخرجوه وقوله تعالى "واجعلنا للمتقين إماما" قال ابن عباس والحسن والسدي وقتادة والربيع بن أنس أئمة يقتدى بنا في الخير. وقال غيرهم هداة مهتدين دعاة إلى الخير فأحبوا أن تكون عبادتهم متصلة بعبادة أولادهم وذرياتهم وأن يكون هداهم متعديا إلى غيرهم بالنفع وذلك أكثر ثوابا وأحسن مآبا ولهذا ثبت في صحيح مسلم عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم "إذا مات ابن آدم انقطع عمله إلا من ثلاث: ولد صالح يدعو له أو علم ينتفع به من بعده أو صدقة جارية".
