ثُمَّأَرْسَلْنَارُسُلَنَاتَتْرَاكُلَّمَاجَآءَأُمَّةًرَّسُولُهَاكَذَّبُوهُفَأَتْبَعْنَابَعْضَهُمبَعْضًاوَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْأَحَادِيثَفَبُعْدًالِّقَوْمٍلَّايُؤْمِنُونَ ٤٤

Saheeh International

Then We sent Our messengers in succession. Every time there came to a nation its messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another [to destruction], and We made them narrations. So away with a people who do not believe.

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ahsanul Bayaan' (BN)

[১] এর অর্থ একের পর এক, পর্যায়ক্রমে, ক্রমাগত ইত্যাদি।

[২] অর্থাৎ, যেমন একের পর এক রাসুল এসেছেন, তেমনি রাসুলদের মিথ্যাজ্ঞান করার জন্য একের পর এক ঐ সকল জাতি আযাব ভোগ করে পৃথিবী হতে নিশ্চিহ্ন হয়ে গেছে।

[৩] যেমন أعَاجِيب শব্দটি أُعجُوبة এর বহুবচন, অনুরূপ أَحَادِيث শব্দটি أُحدُوثَة এর বহুবচন। যার অর্থ কাহিনী ও গল্প।
