21:83

وَأَيُّوبَ إِذۡ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّى مَسَّنِىَ ٱلضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرۡحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ٨٣

Saheeh International

And [mention] Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, adversity has touched me, and you are the Most Merciful of the merciful."

Tafsir "Ibn Kathir" (English)

The Prophet Ayub Allah tells:وَأَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَى رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَفَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ فَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِ مِن ضُرٍّAnd (remember) Ayub, when he cried to his Lord:"Verily, distress has seized me, and You are the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy."
