[Moses] said, "And what is your case, O Samiri?"

(95) Pada ayat ini Allah menerangkan bahwa Musa menghardik Samiri dengan pertanyaan, "Mengapa engkau melakukan perbuatan yang sangat tercela dan dimurkai Allah itu sehingga sebagian Bani Israil telah menjadi kafir setelah beriman dan menyembah berhala yang sengaja engkau bikinkan untuk mereka, engkau telah merusak akidah kaumku yang benar dan telah menyesatkan mereka. Tahukah engkau apa akibat perbuatanmu yang sangat mungkar itu?"
