يَعْلَمُمَابَيْنَأَيْدِيهِمْوَمَاخَلْفَهُمْوَلَايُحِيطُونَبِهِۦعِلْمًا ١١٠

Saheeh International

Allah knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, but they do not encompass it in knowledge.

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ibn Kathir' (IN)

Firman Allah Swt.:

Dia mengetahui apa yang ada di hadapan mereka dan apa yang ada di belakang mereka.

Artinya, pengetahuan Allah meliputi semua makhluk.

Firman Allah Swt.:

....sedangkan ilmu mereka tidak dapat meliputi ilmu-Nya.

Ayat ini semakna dengan firman-Nya:

dan mereka tidak mengetahui apa-apa dari ilmu Allah, melainkan apa yang dikehendaki-(Nya). (Al Baqarah:225)
