وَهُزِّىٓإِلَيْكِبِجِذْعِٱلنَّخْلَةِتُسَٰقِطْعَلَيْكِرُطَبًاجَنِيًّا ٢٥

Saheeh International

And shake toward you the trunk of the palm tree; it will drop upon you ripe, fresh dates.

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ahsanul Bayaan' (BN)

[১] سَري ছোট নদী বা ঝরনাকে বলা হয়। অর্থাৎ মু'জিযা বা কারামত স্বরূপ মারয়্যামের পদতলে পান করার জন্য পানির ছোট নদী এবং খাওয়ার জন্য একটি শুকনো খেজুর গাছ হতে টাটকা পাকা খেজুরের ব্যবস্থা করলেন। আহবানকারী ছিলেন জিবরীল (আঃ) যিনি উপত্যকার নীচে হতে আহবান করেছিলেন। কেউ কেউ বলেন যে, سَري অর্থ সরদার বা নেতা, আর সে অর্থে ঈসা (আঃ)-কে বুঝানো হয়েছে এবং তিনিই মা মারয়্যামকে নিম্নদেশ হতে আওয়াজ দিয়েছিলেন।
