So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a remote place.

(22) Setelah Jibril menerangkan maksud kedatangannya itu, maka Maryam menjawab, "Aku berserah diri kepada ketetapan Allah." Lalu Jibril meniupkan roh Nabi Isa ke Maryam sehingga mengakibatkan Maryam mengandung; lalu ia mengasingkan diri dengan kandungannya ke suatu tempat yang jauh dari orang banyak untuk menghindari tuduhan dan cemoohan dari Bani Israil.
