فَعَسَىٰرَبِّىٓأَنيُؤْتِيَنِخَيْرًامِّنجَنَّتِكَوَيُرْسِلَعَلَيْهَاحُسْبَانًامِّنَٱلسَّمَآءِفَتُصْبِحَصَعِيدًازَلَقًا ٤٠

Saheeh International

It may be that my Lord will give me [something] better than your garden and will send upon it a calamity from the sky, and it will become a smooth, dusty ground,

Tafseer 'Qasim Hamidan Da's' (AR)

(فَعَسى) الفاء رابطة للجواب وعسى ماض جامد (رَبِّي) اسم عسى والياء مضاف إليه وجملة عسى في محل جزم جواب الشرط (أَنْ) ناصبة (يُؤْتِيَنِ) مضارع منصوب والنون للوقاية والياء مفعول به وأن وما بعدها خبر عسى (خَيْراً) مفعول به ثان (مِنْ جَنَّتِكَ) متعلقان بخيرا (وَيُرْسِلَ) الواو عاطفة ومضارع فاعله مستتر (عَلَيْها) متعلقان بيرسل (حُسْباناً) مفعول به (مِنَ السَّماءِ) متعلقان بصفة محذوفة لحسبانا والجملة معطوفة (فَتُصْبِحَ) الفاء فاء عاطفة ومضارع ناقص اسمه محذوف (صَعِيداً) خبر (زَلَقاً) صفة
