17:99
أَوَلَمْيَرَوْا۟أَنَّٱللَّهَٱلَّذِىخَلَقَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَقَادِرٌعَلَىٰٓأَنيَخْلُقَمِثْلَهُمْوَجَعَلَلَهُمْأَجَلًالَّارَيْبَفِيهِفَأَبَىٱلظَّٰلِمُونَإِلَّاكُفُورًا ٩٩

Saheeh International

Do they not see that Allah, who created the heavens and earth, is [the one] Able to create the likes of them? And He has appointed for them a term, about which there is no doubt. But the wrongdoers refuse [anything] except disbelief.

Tafseer 'Ibn Kathir' (AR)

وقال ههنا "أو لم يروا أن الله الذي خلق السموات والأرض قادر على أن يخلق مثلهم" أي يوم القيامة يعيد أبدانهم وينشئهم نشأة أخرى كما بدأهم وقوله "وجعل لهم أجلا لا ريب فيه" أي جعل لإعادتهم وإقامتهم من قبورهم أجلا مضروبا ومدة مقدرة لابد من انقضائها كما قال تعالى "وما نؤخره إلا لأجل معدود" وقوله "فأبى الظالمون" أي بعد قيام الحجة عليهم "إلا كفورا" إلا تماديا في باطلهم وضلالهم.
