17:94
وَمَامَنَعَٱلنَّاسَأَنيُؤْمِنُوٓا۟إِذْجَآءَهُمُٱلْهُدَىٰٓإِلَّآأَنقَالُوٓا۟أَبَعَثَٱللَّهُبَشَرًارَّسُولًا ٩٤

Saheeh International

And what prevented the people from believing when guidance came to them except that they said, "Has Allah sent a human messenger?"

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

قوله تعالى : وما منع الناس أن يؤمنوا إذ جاءهم الهدى إلا أن قالوا أبعث الله بشرا رسولا [ ص: 298 ] قوله تعالى : وما منع الناس أن يؤمنوا إذ جاءهم الهدى يعني الرسل والكتب من عند الله بالدعاء إليه . " فأن " الأولى في محل نصب بإسقاط حرف الخفض . و " أن " الثانية في محل رفع " بمنع " أي وما منع الناس من أن يؤمنوا إذ جاءهم الهدى إلا قولهم أبعث الله بشرا رسولا .
