16:113
وَلَقَدْجَآءَهُمْرَسُولٌمِّنْهُمْفَكَذَّبُوهُفَأَخَذَهُمُٱلْعَذَابُوَهُمْظَٰلِمُونَ ١١٣

Saheeh International

And there had certainly come to them a Messenger from among themselves, but they denied him; so punishment overtook them while they were wrongdoers.

[১] এখানে রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামকেই উদ্দেশ্য করা হয়েছে। তাদের রাসূল ছিল তাদের মধ্য থেকে অত্যন্ত পরিচিত জন। এমন নয় যে, তারা তাকে চিনত না বা তার সম্পর্কে কিছু জানে না। [ফাতহুল কাদীর] এ বিষয়টি পবিত্র কুরআনের আরো বিভিন্ন আয়াতে বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে। [দেখুনঃ সূরা আলে ইমরানঃ ১৬৪, সূরা আত-তালাকঃ ১০-১১, সূরা আল-মু'মিনূনঃ ৬৯]
