15:66
وَقَضَيْنَآإِلَيْهِذَٰلِكَٱلْأَمْرَأَنَّدَابِرَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِمَقْطُوعٌمُّصْبِحِينَ ٦٦

Saheeh International

And We conveyed to him [the decree] of that matter: that those [sinners] would be eliminated by early morning.

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ibn Kathir' (IN)

Firman Allah Swt.:

Dan telah Kami wahyukan kepadanya (Lut) perkara itu.

Artinya, hal ini telah Kami beri tahukan terlebih dahulu kepadanya.

...yaitu bahwa mereka akan ditumpas habis diwaktu subuh.

Yakni di pagi hari buta. Sama pengertiannya dengan yang disebutkan dalam ayat lain melalui firman-Nya:

Sesungguhnya saat jatuhnya azab kepada mereka ialah di waktu subuh, bukankah subuh itu sudah dekat? (Huud:81)
