قَالُوا۟يَٰٓأَبَانَاٱسْتَغْفِرْلَنَاذُنُوبَنَآإِنَّاكُنَّاخَٰطِـِٔينَ ٩٧

Saheeh International

They said, "O our father, ask for us forgiveness of our sins; indeed, we have been sinners."

Tafseer 'Qasim Hamidan Da's' (AR)

(قالُوا) الجملة مستأنفة (يا) نداء (أَبانَا) منادى مضاف منصوب بالألف لأنه من الأسماء الخمسة ونا مضاف إليه والجملة مقول القول (اسْتَغْفِرْ) أمر مجزوم وفاعله مستتر (لَنا) متعلقان باستغفر (ذُنُوبَنا) مفعول به ونا مضاف إليه والجملة مقول القول (إِنَّا) إن واسمها والجملة لا محل لها تعليلية (كُنَّا) كان واسمها والجملة خبر إن (خاطِئِينَ) خبر كنا منصوب بالياء لأنه جمع مذكر سالم.
