12:79
قَالَمَعَاذَٱللَّهِأَننَّأْخُذَإِلَّامَنوَجَدْنَامَتَٰعَنَاعِندَهُۥٓإِنَّآإِذًالَّظَٰلِمُونَ ٧٩

Saheeh International

He said, "[I seek] the refuge of Allah [to prevent] that we take except him with whom we found our possession. Indeed, we would then be unjust."

Tafseer 'Tafsir Kemenag RI' (IN)

(79) Lalu Yusuf berkata kepada saudara-saudaranya bahwa dia melakukan tindakan salah jika melepaskan Bunyamin yang telah terbukti di dalam karungnya ditemukan barang yang hilang itu. Ia berlindung kepada Allah bahwa ia tak mungkin menangkap seseorang kecuali karena telah terbukti mencuri. Seandainya ia menerima usul saudara-saudaranya, berarti ia bertindak tidak adil karena telah menyalahi undang-undang atau peraturan yang berlaku di wilayah kerajaannya.
