11:94
وَلَمَّاجَآءَأَمْرُنَانَجَّيْنَاشُعَيْبًاوَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟مَعَهُۥبِرَحْمَةٍمِّنَّاوَأَخَذَتِٱلَّذِينَظَلَمُوا۟ٱلصَّيْحَةُفَأَصْبَحُوا۟فِىدِيَٰرِهِمْجَٰثِمِينَ ٩٤

Saheeh International

And when Our command came, We saved Shu'ayb and those who believed with him, by mercy from Us. And the shriek seized those who had wronged, and they became within their homes [corpses] fallen prone

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

قوله تعالى : " ولما جاء أمرنا " قيل : صاح بهم جبريل صيحة فخرجت أرواحهم من أجسادهمولما جاء أمرنا نجينا شعيبا والذين آمنوا معه برحمة منا وأخذت الذين ظلموا الصيحة أي صيحة جبريل . وأنث الفعل على لفظ الصيحة ، وقال في قصة صالح : وأخذ الذين ظلموا الصيحة فذكر على معنى الصياح . قال ابن عباس : ما أهلك الله أمتين بعذاب واحد إلا قوم صالح وقوم شعيب ، أهلكهم الله بالصيحة ; غير أن قوم صالح أخذتهم الصيحة من تحتهم ، وقوم شعيب أخذتهم الصيحة من فوقهم .فأصبحوا في ديارهم جاثمين أي ساقطين على وجوههم ، قد لصقوا بالتراب كالطير إذا جثمت .
