يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُأَعْرِضْعَنْهَٰذَآإِنَّهُۥقَدْجَآءَأَمْرُرَبِّكَوَإِنَّهُمْءَاتِيهِمْعَذَابٌغَيْرُمَرْدُودٍ ٧٦

Saheeh International

[The angels said], "O Abraham, give up this [plea]. Indeed, the command of your Lord has come, and indeed, there will reach them a punishment that cannot be repelled."

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ahsanul Bayaan' (UR)

اے ابراہیم! اس خیال کو چھوڑ دیجئے، آپ کے رب کا حکم آپہنچا ہے، اور ان پر نہ ٹالے جانے والا عذاب ضرور آنے والا ہے (١) ٧٦۔١ یہ فرشتوں نے حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام سے کہا کہ اب اس بحث و تکرار کا کوئی فائدہ نہیں، اسے چھوڑیئے اللہ کا وہ حکم (ہلاکت کا) آ چکا ہے، جو اللہ کے ہاں مقدر تھا۔ اور اب یہ عذاب نہ کسی کے مجادلے سے روکے گا نہ کسی کی دعا سے ٹلے گا۔
