وَأَخَذَٱلَّذِينَظَلَمُوا۟ٱلصَّيْحَةُفَأَصْبَحُوا۟فِىدِيَٰرِهِمْجَٰثِمِينَ ٦٧

Saheeh International

And the shriek seized those who had wronged, and they became within their homes [corpses] fallen prone

Tafseer 'Tabari Tafseer' (AR)

القول في تأويل قوله تعالى : وَأَخَذَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا الصَّيْحَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا فِي دِيَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ (67)قال أبو جعفر: يقول تعالى ذكره: وأصاب الذين فعلوا ما لم يكن لهم فعله من عقر ناقة الله وكفرهم به ، (الصيحة فأصبحوا في ديارهم جاثمين) ، قد جثمتهم المنايا، وتركتهم خمودًا بأفنيتهم، (22) كما:-18294- حدثنا بشر قال ، حدثنا يزيد قال ، حدثنا سعيد، عن قتادة: (فأصبحوا في ديارهم جاثمين) ، يقول: أصبحوا قد هلكوا.------------------------الهوامش :(22) انظر تفسير " الجثوم " فيما سلف 12 : 546 ، 566 .
