Hud : 61

11:61
وَإِلَىٰثَمُودَأَخَاهُمْصَٰلِحًاقَالَيَٰقَوْمِٱعْبُدُوا۟ٱللَّهَمَالَكُممِّنْإِلَٰهٍغَيْرُهُۥهُوَأَنشَأَكُممِّنَٱلْأَرْضِوَٱسْتَعْمَرَكُمْفِيهَافَٱسْتَغْفِرُوهُثُمَّتُوبُوٓا۟إِلَيْهِإِنَّرَبِّىقَرِيبٌمُّجِيبٌ ٦١

Saheeh International

And to Thamud [We sent] their brother Salih. He said, "O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him. He has produced you from the earth and settled you in it, so ask forgiveness of Him and then repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is near and responsive."

Tafseer 'Ibn Kathir' (AR)

يقول تعالى "و" لقد أرسلنا "إلى ثمود" وهم الذين كانوا يسكنون مدائن الحجر بين تبوك والمدينة وكانوا بعد عاد فبعث الله منهم أخاهم صالحا فأمرهم بعبادة الله وحده ولهذا قال "هو أنشأكم من الأرض" أي ابتدأ خلقكم منها خلق منها أباكم آدم "واستعمركم فيها" أي جعلكم عمارا تعمرونها وتستغلونها "فاستغفروه" لسالف ذنوبكم "ثم توبوا إليه" فيما تستقبلونه "إن ربي قريب مجيب" كما قال تعالى "وإذا سألك عبادي عني فإني قريب أجيب دعوة الداع إذا دعان" الآية.
