11:60
وَأُتْبِعُوا۟فِىهَٰذِهِٱلدُّنْيَالَعْنَةًوَيَوْمَٱلْقِيَٰمَةِأَلَآإِنَّعَادًاكَفَرُوا۟رَبَّهُمْأَلَابُعْدًالِّعَادٍقَوْمِهُودٍ ٦٠

Saheeh International

And they were [therefore] followed in this world with a curse and [as well] on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, 'Aad denied their Lord; then away with 'Aad, the people of Hud.

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

قوله تعالى : وأتبعوا في هذه الدنيا لعنة أي ألحقوها .ويوم القيامة أي وأتبعوا [ ص: 50 ] يوم القيامة مثل ذلك ; فالتمام على قوله : ويوم القيامة .ألا إن عادا كفروا ربهم قال الفراء : أي كفروا نعمة ربهم ; قال : ويقال كفرته وكفرت به ، مثل شكرته وشكرت لهألا بعدا لعاد قوم هود أي لا زالوا مبعدين عن رحمة الله . والبعد الهلاك ، والبعد التباعد من الخير . يقال : بعد يبعد بعدا إذا تأخر وتباعد . وبعد يبعد بعدا إذا هلك ; قال :لا يبعدن قومي الذين هم سم العداة وآفة الجزروقال النابغة :فلا تبعدن إن المنية منهل وكل امرئ يوما به الحال زائل
