قُلْأَعُوذُبِرَبِّٱلْفَلَقِ ١

Saheeh International

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ahsanul Bayaan' (UR)

آپ کہہ دیجئے! کہ میں صبح کے رب کی پناہ میں آتا ہوں (١) ١۔١ فلَق کے معنی صبح کے ہیں۔ صبح کی تخصیص اس لئے کی کہ جس طرح اللہ تعالٰی رات کا اندھیرا ختم کر کے دن کی روشنی لا سکتا ہے، وہ اللہ اسی طرح خوف اور دہشت کو دور کر کے پناہ مانگنے والے کو امن بھی دے سکتا ہے۔ یا انسان جس طرح رات کو اس بات کا منتظر ہوتا ہے کہ صبح روشنی ہو جائے گی، اسی طرح خوف زدہ آدمی پناہ کے ذریعے سے صبح کامیابی کے طلوع کا امیدوار ہوتا ہے۔ (فتح القدیر)
