10:105
وَأَنْأَقِمْوَجْهَكَلِلدِّينِحَنِيفًاوَلَاتَكُونَنَّمِنَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ ١٠٥

Saheeh International

And [commanded], 'Direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth, and never be of those who associate others with Allah ;

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

قوله تعالى وأن أقم وجهك للدين حنيفا ولا تكونن من المشركين[ ص: 293 ] قوله تعالى وأن أقم وجهك للدين أن عطف على أن أكون أي قيل لي كن من المؤمنين وأقم وجهك . قال ابن عباس : عملك ، وقيل : نفسك ; أي استقم بإقبالك على ما أمرت به من الدين .حنيفا أي قويما به مائلا عن كل دين . قال حمزة بن عبد المطلب ، رضي الله عنه :حمدت الله حين هدى فؤادي من الإشراك للدين الحنيفوقد مضى في " الأنعام " اشتقاقه والحمد للهولا تكونن من المشركين أي وقيل لي ولا تشرك ; والخطاب له والمراد غيره
