Surah Al Adiyat
Ayah-11, Makkah
100:6
إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌ٦
Saheeh International
Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.
100:7
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ٧
Saheeh International
And indeed, he is to that a witness.
100:8
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ لَشَدِيدٌ٨
Saheeh International
And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.
100:9
أَفَلَا يَعۡلَمُ إِذَا بُعۡثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلۡقُبُورِ٩
Saheeh International
But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered
100:10
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ١٠
Saheeh International
And that within the breasts is obtained,
100:11
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرُۢ١١
Saheeh International
Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted.
Surah Al Qari'ah
Ayah-11, Makkah
101:1
ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ١
Saheeh International
The Striking Calamity -
101:2
مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ٢
Saheeh International
What is the Striking Calamity?
101:3
وَمَآ أَدۡرَٮٰكَ مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ٣
Saheeh International
And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity?
101:4
يَوۡمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلۡفَرَاشِ ٱلۡمَبۡثُوثِ٤
Saheeh International
It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed,
101:5
وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ ٱلۡمَنفُوشِ٥
Saheeh International
And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up.
101:6
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ٦
Saheeh International
Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds],
101:7
فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ٧
Saheeh International
He will be in a pleasant life.
101:8
وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ٨
Saheeh International
But as for one whose scales are light,
101:9
فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌ٩
Saheeh International
His refuge will be an abyss.
101:10
وَمَآ أَدۡرَٮٰكَ مَا هِيَهۡ١٠
Saheeh International
And what can make you know what that is?
101:11
نَارٌ حَامِيَةُۢ١١
Saheeh International
It is a Fire, intensely hot.
Surah At Takathur
Ayah-8, Makkah
102:1
أَلۡهَٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ١
Saheeh International
Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you
102:2
حَتَّىٰ زُرۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَقَابِرَ٢
Saheeh International
Until you visit the graveyards.
102:3
كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ٣
Saheeh International
No! You are going to know.
102:4
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ٤
Saheeh International
Then no! You are going to know.
102:5
كَلَّا لَوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عِلۡمَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ٥
Saheeh International
No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty...
102:6
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ٦
Saheeh International
You will surely see the Hellfire.
102:7
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيۡنَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ٧
Saheeh International
Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.
102:8
ثُمَّ لَتُسۡــَٔلُنَّ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ٨
Saheeh International
Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.
