Surah Al An'am
Ayah-165, Makkah
6:9
وَلَوۡ جَعَلۡنَٰهُ مَلَكًا لَّجَعَلۡنَٰهُ رَجُلاً وَلَلَبَسۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم مَّا يَلۡبِسُونَ٩
Saheeh International
And if We had made him an angel, We would have made him [appear as] a man, and We would have covered them with that in which they cover themselves.
6:10
وَلَقَدِ ٱسۡتُهۡزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِٱلَّذِينَ سَخِرُواۡ مِنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواۡ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ١٠
Saheeh International
And already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by that which they used to ridicule.
6:11
قُلۡ سِيرُواۡ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ثُمَّ ٱنظُرُواۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ١١
Saheeh International
Say, "Travel through the land; then observe how was the end of the deniers."
6:12
قُل لِّمَن مَّا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ قُل لِّلَّهِۚ كَتَبَ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَةَۚ لَيَجۡمَعَنَّكُمۡ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيهِۚ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓاۡ أَنفُسَهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ١٢
Saheeh International
Say, "To whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth?" Say, "To Allah ." He has decreed upon Himself mercy. He will surely assemble you for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt. Those who will lose themselves [that Day] do not believe.
6:13
وَلَهُۥ مَا سَكَنَ فِى ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ١٣
Saheeh International
And to Him belongs that which reposes by night and by day, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
6:14
قُلۡ أَغَيۡرَ ٱللَّهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيًّا فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَهُوَ يُطۡعِمُ وَلَا يُطۡعَمُۗ قُلۡ إِنِّىٓ أُمِرۡتُ أَنۡ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنۡ أَسۡلَمَۖ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ١٤
Saheeh International
Say, "Is it other than Allah I should take as a protector, Creator of the heavens and the earth, while it is He who feeds and is not fed?" Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to be the first [among you] who submit [to Allah ] and [was commanded], 'Do not ever be of the polytheists.' "
6:15
قُلۡ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ إِنۡ عَصَيۡتُ رَبِّى عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٍ١٥
Saheeh International
Say, "Indeed I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day."
6:16
مَّن يُصۡرَفۡ عَنۡهُ يَوۡمَئِذٍ فَقَدۡ رَحِمَهُۥۚ وَذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ١٦
Saheeh International
He from whom it is averted that Day - [ Allah ] has granted him mercy. And that is the clear attainment.
6:17
وَإِن يَمۡسَسۡكَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُۥٓ إِلَّا هُوَۖ وَإِن يَمۡسَسۡكَ بِخَيۡرٍ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيرٌ١٧
Saheeh International
And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him. And if He touches you with good - then He is over all things competent.
6:18
وَهُوَ ٱلۡقَاهِرُ فَوۡقَ عِبَادِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ١٨
Saheeh International
And He is the subjugator over His servants. And He is the Wise, the Acquainted [with all].
