هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَكُمۡ خَلَـٰٓئِفَ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ فَمَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيۡهِ كُفۡرُهُۖۥ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ كُفۡرُهُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ إِلَّا مَقۡتًاۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ كُفۡرُهُمۡ إِلَّا خَسَارًا٣٩
Saheeh International
It is He who has made you successors upon the earth. And whoever disbelieves - upon him will be [the consequence of] his disbelief. And the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them in the sight of their Lord except in hatred; and the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them except in loss.
وہی ایسا ہے جس نے تم کو زمین میں آباد کیا، سو جو شخص کفر کرے گا اس کے کفر کا وبال اسی پر پڑے گا۔ اور کافروں کے لئے ان کے کفر ان کے پروردگار کے نزدیک ناراضی ہی بڑھنے کا باعث ہوتا ہے اور کافروں کے لئے ان کا کفر خسارہ ہی بڑھنے کا باعث ہوتا (١) ہے۔ ٣٩۔١ یعنی اللہ کے ہاں کفر کوئی فائدہ نہیں پہنچائے گا، بلکہ اس سے اللہ کے غضب اور ناراضگی میں بھی اضافہ ہوگا اور انسان کے اپنے نفس کا خسارہ بھی زیادہ۔
